OSHA 2024 Updated Reporting and Recordkeeping Requirements
Tuesday, January 30th, 2024 | 11:00AM – 12:00PM CST
OSHA reporting and recordkeeping is burdensome in the best of times. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) issued a final rule that will take effect on January 1, 2024, amending its occupational injury and illness recordkeeping regulations.

Each year employers of all sizes struggle and face the task on what OSHA reporting and recordkeeping requirements for illnesses and injuries sustained in the workplace apply to their organization. No one wants to report or record an occurrence that does not meet these requirements but employers fear that they may not be properly addressing incidents in the appropriate manner. This situation can result in a great deal of confusion for those whose job duties require them to manage their OSHA reporting and recording responsibilities.

During this webinar, we will review the new OSHA 2024 reporting and recording requirements, who they apply to, what your company must do for compliance, and when to complete various responsibilities. In addition, we will review the OSHA 300 forms in further detail and discuss OSHA’s new electronic submission of injury and illness records requirements.

Also, the difference between reporting and recording to OSHA will be explained, including key dates of posting, recording and reporting OSHA logs to OSHA. We will also cover real world examples of reports and records that have or should be submitted to OSHA.
